Everyone has the need to express himself through activity. For me this activity began already in the medium school through the amateur school theatre. During college and right after I had the chance to work in an investment warehouse of Gdańsk Power Station with a group of amazing people who taught me how to weld, but also dream. As time passed I decided to express my thoughts and feelings, my comments about reality through a form. Somewhere after I have met Jacek Kornacki and thus began my adventure with art. It lasts till today. Through meetings, journeys and nightly discussions, books, movies and people I am more and more filled with memories and deep thoughts. The exhibitions which I have created and am creating are a reaction to these stimuli. I need them and share them, I am happy when they find receivers.
I have the need to improve and formulate unobvious questions, cross boundaries, walk there where none had been. As in surgery as in art I would like to walk there so something might happen better. Better for people that I know on a daily basis and those that I meet sometimes for a moment.
I understand that when you do something, you have to do it right. You have to learn the medium of taking action, tools and the laws they abide to. It has always been clear to me in medicine, but a time came that I understood that in art it is just the same. It is important to recognize its tools and philosophy. Philosophy especially to understand what others think. How did they put forth these questions.
In spite of that in the year 2019 I understood that I must study. Some people ask: why are you getting this master’s degree now, when you have been creating art for the past 20 years? But it is not about the diploma. It is more about the increase of knowledge and awareness, and I am doing it now because I understood that I need it. I will always be grateful to Jacek Kornacki, Grzegorz Klaman and Krzysztof Polkowski, that they convinced me to study. Grzegorz accepted me into a workshop, he committed bravely into this project. After completing the courses on the thesis year I see his sense.
